
Alexandra Rose Raisman was born on May 25, 1994. She is a retired American artist gymnast. She was leader of the 2012 "Fierce Five" and the"Fierce Five" in 2016 "Final Five," U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics team. She took home a team gold medal during the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Gabby Douglas and Raisman are the only Americans to win back-to-back gold medals in this event. Raisman was awarded silver medals in the individual all-aroundevent, as well as the floor exercise. Raisman also received silver medals in the individual all-around , as well as in floor exercise. She also is two-time champion of the national championships in floor exercise (2012 and 2015), and the national champion in balance beam in the year 2012. She is also five times a medalist at the national all-around championships (silver and bronze in 2010 2011, 2012 and the year 2015). In 2013, she was inducted into the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame.
