Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is an extremely popular American actress and singer. Her parents include Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. Her family was birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. The mother of Kristen is Polish and her father German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen was already an accomplished performer from a young age. In 1992, she went to her very first audition. She got a part in Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell aged 13 when her mom signed as an agent was cast on TV and newspaper advertisements. At this time Bell also started classes in acting. Bell was in a role of minor importance that was not credited to her in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell was part of the drama and music clubs at Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz was performed by her high school and she won the role of Dorothy. Bell attended New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theater following her graduating. Bell dropped out of school in 2001, and began taking on the role Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. The same year, she was the first to be credited in Pootie Tang (2001), however, her performance was cut and her appearance exists only in the credit sequence. Bell made her debut in 2002. Bell made an appearance as a character in the Broadway version of The Crucible with Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
